How does one become imaginative? What happens when you are allowed to let go of everything usually considered important? What if we shamelessly fantasise together?
THIS CAN’T HAPPEN wants to create space for the unlikely, the mythical, the impossible, ridiculous, exasperating, magical and non-confirmistic. Together we investigate the practice of unusual thinking, by practicing it collectively.
THIS CAN’T HAPPEN is an experiment with our imagination. In this tantalizing game, the audience is exploring the boundaries of the imagineable: beyond what seems true, beyond what is likely; beyond what is politically correct.
Which alternative stories can we find lurking behind the images of our collective memory? Can we shed light on other possible realities next to the dominant and known ones? And what happens to us when we try to do this collectively? Let’s take some time to explore the impossibilities that we find on our way.
